Ernesto Cornetta and Fabio Fraschini are Starship 9. Over the years, as musicians and friends in Rome, they have shared their live and studio music performances, until the establishment of an artistic and professional relationship also as producers. Starship 9 is ready to take off: the personal style of both musicians merges with the inspiration given by their common passion for themes and melodies from the cult film soundtracks with an “easy listening” soul. The retrofuturistic taste of European pop music meets the intimate cinematic atmospheres made in Italy, and the timeless sound takes shape in the recording studio, the place where the band goes through sonic journeys and experiments. Starship 9's "Stelvio" ep is finally out February 3, 2017 on Cinevox Record, ahead of their first full length album, due for release later this year.
